With a BComm degree from McMaster, he had a good overall understanding of business and has always felt to have an entrepreneurial mindset. This enabled him and his wife to get into real estate early and by 25 they had two properties and had helped his wife launch her own salon business. On the podcast, Tyler indicated his desire to also have his own business and earlier in 2019 he started Tykel Commercial Door Supply Inc.
